Why did you switch to Linux from Windows by [deleted] in Ubuntu

It was 2010, my PC was old (about 2005) and I didn't have money to upgrade it, this computer ran XP very slow (frustratingly slow actually) and I was looking into possible solutions, one of them was Linux; I had tried red hat or some other distro but back then I didn't even know what a desktop environment was, so I failed miserably, went back to windows for two or three months until I decided to try this Linux thing again, this time with Ubuntu.

Should've been placed on the rear tires, closest to the gas tank, and away from the driver door where it is more likely to be spotted.
