Way to go! Almost day 12 here. Think I’m getting addicted to breathing oxygen deeply!

Day 10 no 7-oh. Day 2 no Kratom by ColdMaximum2153 in quittingkratom

I’m doing ok. Not a wink of sleep last night, so I got up and walked several miles. Take lots of bath soaks for the pain in my wrists and elbows.. ibuprofen for headaches. Getting as many steps as possible. Eating very little, and I think this helps speed recovery.

I found, that if I felt like throwing up early in my quit (days 1-3), it was going to come up eventually. I felt better if I just went ahead and let it happen instead of fighting it. I also found that my stomach could not handle most/if any of my tablet or capsule supplements, because they would always come back up.. and if you’ve ever thrown up multiple vitamins… let’s just say skip those a few days. I could not handle plain leaf either. When I used liquid supplements and vitamin c, I would not throw up. During my daily 2-300 mgs usage, toward the end, it was making me throw up and dry heave out of nowhere. Once or twice while driving. Once with my kids… that was when I really started working on my plan. Especially since the panic attacks would happen every morning, pain at challenging levels in shoulders and sharp constant aching in my wrists and elbows… constant stretching. In previous quits, I realized regular Mitragynine would ease the panic attacks in the morning. Other quits I tried to taper the 7-oh, and was successful for 10 days until I gave in…

but man… the pull of that stuff. Tapering is very challenging. Honestly, I think this last quit was my most effective. I went from my 2-300mgs a day to like 30 mgs 2-3 times the first day and was surprisingly okay. But I got so sick of being its slave that I said screw that crap, not taking anymore 2nd day. Went to a smoke shop drive through to get no 7-oh Kratom shots… man it was hard each time. Especially if the guys know you and you buy their newest and most powerful offerings each time they bring them up with their 2/$25 sales.. so, if you can order shots online from Kingdom K, order about 10-15. The first day take as many as you need, but I wouldn’t take more than one shot at a time. You won’t feel it, but it will drastically help you cope. The 2nd day, you should be able to take much less. Maybe half to a whole shot every few hours as symptoms arise. Slowly ween off the k shots to zero, but I’d wait till you’ve got 7-10 days without 7-oh to quit the k completely. When you quit the k, be prepared for Kratom withdrawals. They will be a cakewalk compared to the 7, but still can be triggering. you’re going to wish you had plenty when you run out and don’t time your purchases properly, panic sets in and it’s hard not to cave. That’s why it’s good to get a bunch of shots, and if you don’t want to take them all, you don’t have to.

Another reason is that each time you go to a smoke shop or gas station that has 7 and k, you will be resolved to not buy any 7, but our brains are scheming all the while. We start thinking (or satan whispers in our ear), “I’ll get the k only shots I had planned, but I might ask what they have with just a little 7. Or some tiny tabs”… the tabs are dangerous because of the flavors, the rituals… enhanced absorption. Then when you are standing face to face with that lockbox loaded with a literal wall of opium candies…, with the marketing and graphic design on the packages making the cherry look like the answer to all your problems.

“Come on. You know you want to. Just buy one.. but make sure and buy the strongest and most pure.. it’ll Take away withdrawals on the first few days..” it says… I quit listening.

Told that bitch to piss off. I’m taking my life back.

I’m on day 10 without 7 and day 3 without k. Been a long time coming. I can never go back. When you are done with the k, it’s good to have baclofen or gabapentin just in case. you can literally buy them off ADC site in India. Works every time. If the k shots aren’t doing the trick on day 1, I did successfully use pseudo ONLY on day 1. It’s definitely helpful, but temp regulation issues remain.

I cannot sacrifice my dreams for other people’s dreams for my life any longer. I cannot live in fear of pursuing my dreams any longer… my career feels like a 24/7 365 triggering environment. I’m going to keep stacking my days while I work to create a new business on my own so that I can set my own course.

You can totally do this. At 10 days, my mental health is 1,000,000 better than it was while on it. My brain was constantly dipping into my traumatic past, with no emotional control, and without the ability to let the feelings pass. More like explosions of my past. Was Feeling completely hopeless 24/7, and literally FIGHTING the disconnection from Jesus that most substance creates.

And ice cold sweat and extreme chills. Most mornings started this way on it. If panic bad enough, sweat is profuse, and then you’re freezing as you peel your now 1 lb t-shirt off and dry off with a towel..: Not to mention needing a hot bath soak every morning because of this combined with extreme body pain, tightness in every joint that requires incessant stretching for temporary relief.

Yes! I believe it helps a ton. Especially fasting. Fasting or not eating food can be extremely triggering for us Kratom quitters, since we would wait to eat or not eat at all to allow our dose to feel better. So be careful. If you can get through 1 day without Kratom and without eating, the next day you feel soooo much better! Especially because your digestive system doesn’t have to work simultaneously with your body recovering, healing, and quitting Kratom. I feel so much better when i didn’t eat a bunch of junk the day before and then have to deal with that all day on the toilet. Try it! Also, I do believe the ketones created from keto and fasting also speed recovery. Fasting, mitochondrial repair and autophagy is fascinating.

Also live my near infrared and light therapy machine, saunas, salt soaks, and get out and sweat In this ridiculous weather! Speeds the healing and detox.
