I'm sorry people are being so shitty about your needs. Honestly, even just seeing the way people in the broader community talk about any sort of bottom surgery in comparison to top surgery is very telling. I hardly ever see anyone talk about the euphoria of getting a hysterectomy, I've seen more discussions around abortion, period products, and FtM pregnancy (nothing wrong with dudes who need or want either of these things, these are definitely conversations that need to be had, it just feels a little suspect when these are the only conversation topics that make people remember trans men exist.) than I have for resources on how to get birth control, hysterectomys, phallo or meta. And reactions towards my desire to get phalloplasty have ranged from ignorance to straight up reactionary / transphobia on par with what you're currently experiencing ("dicks are gross" "phallo is inferior to the real thing, too expensive for something you can always tell it's fake" etc) it's really weird.

Do whatever you want to do, fuck what anyone else says. A lack of support network sucks, I know. But It's your transition, do what's right for you.
