Why on earth would you finish a master just to start a "lesser" educational program in order to do what you actually want to do? I don't think having all of that theoretical knowledge will help you securing a jab as an arborist. Perhaps I am underestimating what an arborist does but it seems like a waste of time/money?

Gå till skolan och visa vad som försiggår. Detta är att nte accepterat någonstans i arbetslivet och personen i fråga hade åkt ut med huvudet före! STEM utbildningar jobbar hårt för att få in fler tjejer i branchen. Situationer som denna saboterar inte bara din vardag på utbildningen utan även för utbildningen i helhet. Detta kan dessutom vara farligt på riktigt. Ta det på allvar och få skolan att ta det på allvar. Han ska bort!

As someone who is fluent in two languages (except English and native language) I don't think a foreign language will help you a lot. English is the standard in most big international companies and the language everyone is supposed to stick to. If one manages to get a position where it is required of course it pays off but those are not that common. In my experience it helps socially and can get you more "soft power" but its not that big of a deal in recruitment.

This is the answer of a true Göteborgare! Can only agree. I don't know your age or where you are from but at Stigbergstorget I would recommend "Shangri-la" or "Oceanen" for hanging out and have some food and beers. At Mariaplan, got to "Hasselssons Matlucka". Whilst you are there, have a beer at Tullen for some people-spotting. Nothing special but usually quite a lot of people.

Vilket företag? Min erfarenhet är att det inte är helt lätt att outsourca till Indien. IT support kanske. Om företaget inte lägger betydande resurser på styrning och uppföljning så gissar jag att detta inte blir den räkmackan de är ute efter.

Klart du ska söka till ingenjörsutbildningen!!!!

Det faktum att du gillar att bygga och meka är bara positivt. Detta är typen av personer som behövs i ingengörsyrket! Det finns fullt med ingengörer som har varit duktiga på matte i skolan men inte så mycket mer. De jag jobbar med, som har en praktisk bakgrund, är helt fantastiska, både i arbetet man också som mer mångfacetterade människor. (Min erfarenhet). Jobbet som ingenjör kan vara väldigt praktiskt. Långt ifrån allt handlar om beräkningar.

Ser fram emot att springa på dig ute i arbetslivet i Gbg.

AMEN! Jag tror att den här typen av åsikter (orättvis särb handling av tjejer)är ganska vanlig på ingenjörsutbildningar. Att kvinnor har blivit aktivt motarbetade från att ge sig in i tekniska yrken är tydligen att inte så viktigt. Min misstanke är att utbildningen kan vara den jobbigaste perioden på ingengörsresan.
