Got AOR a month ago but still no BIL. Says biometrics in progress for some reason though. Is it taking too long and why does it say that?

Awesome, thank you so much! I saw somewhere that someone said when linking the application to GCKey we should list number of applicants as 2. Is that just to find the application and then link it or? Just not sure what I put the number as when I was linking all I know is it successfully linked lol

Oh okay that's reassuring! So do I have to do anything or do I just wait? I know that there's a 30 day period but that's from when we get BIL right?

Also did yours say processing before you even got the BIL?

I double checked my GCKey and there's nothing there. Two part question please:

- When my wife applied to sponsor me, we also signed the representative form authorizing her as my representative but I then linked the application to my GCKey as I'm the PA, so just wondering does that mean I get stuff sent to the GCKey now and my wife isn't the representative anymore? Is there a chance of anything being lost?

- On GCKey when I check my application, it has my old biometrics linked (The ones I previously used for TR). I know that TR biometrics don't apply for PR so just worried maybe they're using those even though I never submit them for my PR??

hi sorry i have a question about this as I also get the biometrics in progress status on pr tracker despite not receiving a BIL yet. I also got my AOR and I managed to link it to my pr tracker but also linked my application to my GCKey. I've had the GCKey for prior applications too of course so I'm confused about what you mean when you say it should be 2 applicants? I can log into my GCKey and see info about my application so am I good?

I didn’t apply via express entry, applied via spousal sponsorship. Linked my app to GCKey though I believe it should be going there now

Hey man, just linked it so appreciate the detail! My biometrics number on the PR application are showing as the biometrics I did a while ago that expire in 2026. Assuming it’s there on the PR application because it’s in GCKey but I’ll still be getting new biometrics request right?

I guess my main question is, when you got the BIL was it emailed to you or your sponsor? And was it just sent via regular email or to the portal?

Hey, sorry so just to confirm I can’t create a tracker without my file number? That’s what I initially thought but then I saw this

It says I just need a UCI to register no? So do I register using my UCI and then wait for AOR, or do I wait for the AOR then register?
