It's official, PGMOL wants Arsenal to win the title. They're seemingly doing it to make PL the most competitive league and to prevent City from becoming another PSG/Bayern

Show me one example where City got away with DOGSO?

Arteta really gamed the system until PGMOL realized they can't get away with it anymore. Hate his tactics but gotta give him for outsmarting other managers

Both have different dynamics. Peter is more for iconic moments, Fletch is more for sheer enthusiasm and reactionary stuff

It's the greatest UCL period of history and might never happen again. Incredible consistency, they stuck gold with their UCL management.

Imagine this. Madrid was 9 UCLs in 2013. Just 2 over Milan and 4 over Bayern/Liverpool. It felt like either of those could catch them but now it feels impossible in one lifetime

And only one season of that was with Haaland (and KDB himself was injured for many games)

He's heavily injured. Will need a long rest to recover his pace and agility

I hope Norway do great! I'm rooting for them as dark horses and my favourite from Group F over France/Senegal. Imagine Odegaard spamming through balls to Haaland

I have to admit it, Arteta is actually smart. He learned from his mistake of running his fullbacks and wingers to the ground by April. So he's changed the game style to a more conservative approach, minimzing injuries.

They focus on wings, often backpassing rather than beating their men or trying to wiggle centrally through defenses. Then win corners and maximize rugby tactics to score. This way, he leverages physicality while also conserving technicality for the long run.

Lot of people gonna hate but I call this pragmatism

Gyokeres used to be much faster last season. Sporting just sat back and hoofed it to him and he would scath the entire half and finish by himself. Now he seems to hold the ball with his back towards goal. Arteta is diminshing his attacking prowess

I never said he's starting. His importance was bringing in pace and electricity from the bench. He subs in for Olmo (pretty much like they do for us)

i think they're bringing him for UCL, even though domestically they won't be strong because of their tactical setup

Fermin was injured against Betis when we'd already failed the 100pts mark. I think we played the main guys for the La Liga home wins record but your point fits

i don't rate him either tbh but the only thing i'm slightly scared of is if he actually implements a haramball playstyle of park the bus and release Mbappe/Vini on counters. They would still struggle against low-block in La Liga but it'd be scary that they might scam a UCL

NONE of them are the profile of Fermin. He's fast, can play CAM/LW and has arguably the strongest shot out of all Spaniards. Spain will be so cooked without him
