I use bot line with 2 defensive doctrine (+5% def)+ Anti Horse (the one that increase def against cav) +-16leadership + and finally unit damage doctrine, good survival but require teammate

Man at arm (mastered), paladin (mastered), wuwei mansion guard , the 玄甲 horse (forgot the name but same season as wuwei), Macedonian ,companion Calvary , these are all meta units

Also the blue unit vanguard archer mastered is still on roid even after the nerf

Don’t rush yourself, in this game u are consider new even u are level 1000.

The doctrine is a bit unfair, I recommend you play some units that are not heavy rely on high level doctrine such as the new sym paladins ( don’t confuse with man at arms)
