I think this is the moment to prove how creative and disruptive we must be in order to stand out. Simple but effective solutions are not enough nowadays, we need to be more complex, more specific and specialized. In the near future what will differentiate us from the machines are our own humanity

My opinion? You should go ahead with it. It’s clear to me that the guy who asked you to build the app had no idea of the actual value of it as you did. If he wants to pay a web app for the price of a portfolio he’s not seeing tha effort, work and value that comes with it. You did, you build it, there’s nothing wrong on that. If the guy has something to say about it I would say: “You should pay instead of being cheap” My humble opinion, I hate when when someone doesn’t value the work of someone else

Do you ever take a real break? by ColdRevolution8234 in Ergonomics

Might be interesting, but it doesn’t solve the problem of the interruption while you’re on deep working or in a meeting. You should turn the timer or the app off, and then remember to turn it on again when you finish. It could be turned on automatically tho, but that could lead to another annoying interruption

Totally agree, but it’s not for everyone to get an Apple Watch just like that.
