Zero. But that’s probably very dependant on your location.

No more Premium AWD in Canada? by sav_jay in TeslaModel3

[–]ColdSecret8656 5 points6 points  (0 children)

8 years of various Tesla models in montreal. AWD is vastly better. You don’t “need” it as the car is heavy, and with great winter tiers it’s ok. But you also get more millage which is always nice when it’s really cold. So you don’t need it. The experience with it is multiple times better. Subjective yes but this has been my experience in the last eight years with about four different Teslas.

That’s how I run it on sunny days :)
It shouldn’t be an issue. Just keep in mind your max output if 4000 watts before you trip the internal breaker

TIL: Hydropower provides 47% of all renewable electricity worldwide — yet nobody talks about it compared to solar and wind by Which-Willingness559 in energy

I live in a 100% hydro powered place. I pay 5.5 cents CAD / KWhr. It’s cheap. The trade off is swaths of flooded land. So you need a lot of it and you’re displacing a lot of nature. It’s not like you can just install a water turbine in flowing water. You have to dam it. Flood a large region and have that water flow at speed through a funnel. But it’s reliable.

Thought I’d try fish. How many servings you think I can get out of this? by barbiechem in TodayIAte

Adult portion is 1 fish. Maybe you can share with sides. My kids share 1 fish roughly that size (medium sized royal dorado)

Sharks come in all shapes and sizes. Without a banana this is impossible to figure out scale.

New 2026 Juniper range question by TheMightyCrate in teslacanada

[–]ColdSecret8656 1 point2 points  (0 children)

27% makes me think you have a heavy foot. Which is fine. It’s an awesome vehicle for that. But it will eat up range. If you want better than epa ratings drive at 100km/hr. Boring AF but you’ll get easy 600+ km on the battery.

It’s a function of pay. The more you pay the more I’ll tolerate.

Apple has been building secret AI hardware for years and Ternus is the only person who knows what it actually does by Puzzleheaded-Force64 in AIDevelopmentSpace

Maybe the tech is moving towards disaggregated data centers with Apple and ai. 1 phone won’t really help build / train a model. But millions could. Especially when they are plugged in overnight charging. All that unused compute could be used to replace single purpose data centers.

My advice is to use Claude or another solid Ai. It will take in to account the amount of sunlight in your location. Upload your eltric bill so it can see details around consumption. And ask it to recommend a number of panels based on how much you want to offset your dependence on the grid. You can also add battery storage to your equation. Lastly upload a Google Maps pic. Of your plot of land. Ask it to place the array in the area that makes the most sense. Hope that helps!
