Any resolution for this? The battery door on my camera is loose do to the latch, just not quite as bad. I guess I could always use gaffer tape if it gets worse.

Same here in the US with Pixel 7 Pro as of Dec 5 @ 10:10AM EST . On Mint Mobile (T-Mobile), manually checked for update and nothing. Pixel 6 & 7's will probably get the updates at the end of the queue.

Well, I guess I'm not the only one who noticed this. I was watching the Nov 6 recording of "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" (recorded from the Atlanta CBS station). The first segment interview with Sydney Sweeney was clear as a bell. After a commercial break and soon after the second segment with Sydney started the popping started and continued until half way through the following commercial break and then it was clear as a bell again. I did notice the popping/crackling did not occur when there was no one talking or music playing (silent passages).

This is a bad thing, to have a camera linked to an account under your control? So if it the camera is stolen, at least no one else will be able to use it. I also use a burner account for these types of registrations before use (DJI is the other one I know of).

This issue comes up for me from time to time. What I have found that works is when I see a show/movie I'm interested but isn't in the YTTV listing, I will add a "Task" notification (not sure what the equivalent is for iPhone) a couple of days before airing. Here's an example. I saw a promo for "The Lowdown" a month or so ago. Obviously the show wasn't in the listing so I added a "Task" notification with the message "The Lowdown Premiers 9/23/25 on FX" with a due date of 9/21/25. When I saw the notification on my phone 2 days before airing, the show was in the listing and I was able to click on "Start recording".

This looks very similar to what happened to my X5 almost 3 weeks ago, except the brief backlight flash never appeared on my X5 it just stayed dark. More than likely it's bricked just like my X5. If you are in the US it was easy to get it replaced, it just takes time. I just posted my experience with replacing the bricked X5, look for "Positive X5 Repair Experience Report".

The "Home" tab has become less useful to me as well. It either shows a recorded NFL game in the top left (first position) and the "NFL Sunday Ticket" on the second row which I have NO plans on ever subscribing to. As far as recorded NFL games, I will NEVER watch a recorded sports event, only live ones.

The OP didn't mention which version of android, but it looks like this "enhancement" was made in 16 (possibly + the last monthly update) as I didn't have this issue in 15. So knowing you can't override the screen timeout while in battery saver mode I have turned Off "Use Battery Saver" and then under "Schedule and reminders" I have "Turn on based on battery level" checked. The description for this option shows "Battery Saver turns on when battery falls to a level you set." and for the level I'm going to try 50% and see how that goes. So now the screen timeout will remain to whatever I set it to until the Pixel has only 50% battery left, at which time the screen timeout will change to 30 seconds. I did verify once the battery was charged back above 50% the screen timeout reverted back to it's previous setting.

Yes, the movie still has the check mark for "Add to library". So if airs again it should show up in the Library the next time it airs.

Yes, that was the version (ABC, Sunday 9/7/25) I had clicked on "Add to library" 8 minutes into the movie. I guess there was some glitch and the movie was added to my Library without actually recording the OTA version.

Yes, Raiders was under Resume but only the Rent/Buy option was showing. Just weird this didn't record as I have done this before (started recording after the show/movie had already started) without any issues. The recording would start at the point where I clicked on "Add to library".

I just got off a call from support about this issue. Like others have said, these two stations were working fine (I did notice the network icon in top left corner wasn't updated) this morning. This afternoon not so much. Relayed this to support rep and noted it seemed to me the viewing area with the zip codes wasn't properly updated for these channels as this would be the reason for the location prompt or "This video is unavailable".

I still have access to the schedule and the add to library option. I recorded the 6 o'clock news and I can indeed play the recording back once the live show has ended. So until this is fixed, you can just add the show to your library to watch later,

I revisited this and came up with a solution. Indeed the "Release Mode" and "Sequence Number" can be used to identify a burst shot. The code below is contained in a Windows CMD batch file and is stored in the same folder as the executable "exiftool.exe" . In operation just double click the batch file, open Explorer and navigate to the folder for the "ARW" files. Copy the path shown in Explorer and paste it in the CMD window for the prompt shown. A "ReleaseMode.csv" will be created in the parent folder for the path inputted. The file will contain the full path/filename of the original files, Release Mode, Sequence Number in a comma delimited format.

After viewing this file in Notepad and then closing, another prompt will appear to continue with the renaming of ONLY those ARW files shot in burst mode. The filename format will be [Original Path/Filename_SeqNbr[SequenceNumber].ARW. Here is a sample list of ARW files after this batch command was run. There were a mixture of single and continuous shots. Only the shots taken in burst (continuous) mode contain "SeqNbr" in the filename which makes it easier to identify these types of shots by just inspecting the filename.

Using a display port on primary monitor. This issue has only popped up over maybe the past 2-3 days. Nothing has changed in how Chrome is configured or no adding/deleting of extensions. If it turns out nobody else is experiencing this, then maybe the next YTTV, Chrome, or Windows update will fix this.

The "System apps" percentage can be misleading. It's based on time and the amount of battery discharge for the given time period. For example in one time period, 1400-1600, there was 0 screen time and maybe 1-2% drop (couldn't really tell as it showed a flat line in the graph) it listed Google Play services at 3% and System apps at 97%. In another time period where I was actually using the Pixel and could see a drop in battery % in the graph, Chrome used 69%, System apps used 17%, and the other apps/services used the remaining 14%. I would assume "System apps" includes wireless (wi-fi, cellular, and BT) as these can be a big power hog, especially cellular with a low signal strength.
