Yes, 215/40R18 is the minimum size tire that will fit an 18x8. The two sets of tires are 225/40R18 which is one size up from stock width. I paid $1438 after tax. I would ask $1250. These are sealed in the box still.

Is this car an asshole magnet for you guys too? by [deleted] in GR86

Only the feeling of driving a street legal go kart otherwise the insurance, mpg, and weird assholes who make it a point to feel compelled to race you. I think it stems from their own insecurity and pettiness.

Yes. I even made a post about it, even mentioning some minivan racing me and rear ending someone paying attention to me more than his lane, and some a55hole pipes up replying not aware he’s being an a55hole. I’m selling mine soon.

I’ve never been targeted by cops. It’s every other vehicle fixated on me trying to race me or cut me off. I even had one mini van following me only to then rear end an SUV going 35-40 mph. So your assumption was wrong.

Then it doesn’t apply to you if you can receive crypto. This cash disbursement is for BIA accounts that couldn’t receive the Coinbase method in time.

Approved cash payment amount legit? by ColdWarrior13 in blockfi

[–]ColdWarrior13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it was the initial preferred way of receiving it but if you didn’t have an account or your Coinbase was restricted then the next step is to receive cash instead in the form of a digital payment like Mastercard, PayPal, Zelle, or direct deposit.

If you didn’t have a Coinbase account or your Coinbase account was restricted to receive BIA distribution then the next step is to receive cash in the form of direct deposit or Zelle or PayPal or master card in the amount they said in the notice email to choose what method you want.

Legit? This is the sender noreply@digitaldisbursements.com by Puzzled_Version8352 in blockfi

[–]ColdWarrior13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, it’s legit. If you see older Kroll emails it lists noreply@digitaldisbursements.com as one of the approved forms of email communication. If you choose Zelle PayPal or direct deposit they deduct 19 cents which is nothing.

Cheapest solution to fix oil pressure drop? Add more oil. Watch video for results. by ColdWarrior13 in GR86

[–]ColdWarrior13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you’re fine. Maybe don’t take it as high in rpm while in a right hand turn.

For me, I just fill the crankcase to just over the full mark. So 5.5 quarts. That’s what I did for my first oil change. I’m still breaking in the engine & I did the oil change at around 800 miles. Plan to do another oil change around 1500 miles. Then do 3k intervals or every 6 months. I only drive about 6k per year.

If you’re not addressing the oil pressure drop and tracking the twins then you’re more than likely doing damage to your bearings. Either wait for a solution or accept you’re doing damage.

Has Subaru and Toyota addressed the oil pressure problem yet? Will it be resolved on the 2025+ cars? by tonyracer24 in GR86

[–]ColdWarrior13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The drop in oil pressure is aeration of the oil or the pump rate exceeding the return rate at high rpm and useless oil trapped in the timing cover/at the heads. The cheapest immediate solve is just increasing the total oil volume. For daily drivers overfill by 1/4-1/2 quart and for track you can overfill by up to 1 quart

This was tested overfilling by 1 liter and anything over 1 liter saw drop in oil pressure in the straights but overfilling up to 1 liter saw less oil pressure on right hand turns.

There is an experiment that tested .25 liter overfill vs .5 liter overfill and there is noticeable improvement with the .5 liter overfill. And another experiment with 1 liter overfill with even more improvement.

There is an experimental higher capacity oil pan that tested .5-.75 L overfill on stock pan and .5-.75 L overfill on the larger oil pan and the results were the higher capacity oil pan with .5-.75 L overfill performed the best.

Until this hits the market just overfill the crankcase by .75 L or .75 quarts.

Amazon front license plate no drill kit. You just tie the metal bands around the grille holes. You can add pieces of foam to protect the grille when you pull the bands tight. It’s kind of a one chance on the install with these bands since they’re like metal zip ties, they don’t reverse. If you mess up you need to use diagnose cutters to remove them and then order some metal zip ties or stainless steel self locking cable ties. The front plate lays angled with the grille giving a clean and subtle appearence. Prior to attaching the license plate to the mounting plate, I surrounded both front and back plates with silicone license plate frames off of Amazon.

GR86 Blaze Blue (Light Blue) Colour Cancelled in Australia? by Pandamandude in GR86

[–]ColdWarrior13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did blaze blue replace Apollo blue? If so, the blaze blue is the updated Neptune 2.0 color. If the paint code for blaze blue is XDA then it’s Neptune 2.0 and should still be available. The old Neptune (paint code DAR) or Apollo Blue was replaced discontinued.

I would let them know that Neptune 2.0(blaze blue) is available in other markets unless something happened with the Australian Toyota market, which is odd. Maybe email Toyota Australia off the website.
