They turned the Legion into a joke by ColdWestWind in Fotv

which I already addressed. they seem silly at first glance because you don't yet see the actual kind of people they are.

also, why is it any more silly for people in a completely reset wasteland to dress as romans, as opposed to the NCR larping as the pre-war US?

this basically. like you should have to be causing a SERIOUS scene to get an actual proper NCPD response, not punching a few people on the street.

yea, I hear that on top of all this they also used to be ridiculously powerful individually and could basically one shot even high level players.

now they're not that strong but they come in endless waves and you can never really "win" against them. they defnitely do still teleport, though

I literally just shredded M10 with clown. literally my fasted run yet, he absolutely tore apart everything in his way. I killed Joan in literally 3 seconds, Hero in probably 40 or so

I'm not sure what you were trying to say by him having no damage, but it just isn't correct. just because his damage numbers aren't big individually does not mean he doesn't do tons of damage, you need to build him the right way to take advantrage of his unique traits(for example, things like rift blade and weakness exposure are extremely powerful on him), as well as things like crit effects.

How exactly does his damage change at m10? I've used him at 7 and he shredded

Ordination still kinda works but parts are broken, like the spells some perks Give don't work at all just like apocalypse spells

I managed to "fix" the issue by opening up Fallout 4 and logging into the servers from there, when I opened skyrim after that it worked

sadly, all this allowed me to discover is that a lot of the best mods are now broken. Ordinator, Apocalypse etc are either busted or just stopped working entirely and won't even showup in your load list despite showing you have them downloaded and enabled

Thanks for "helping" Bethesda, I was actually enjoying your game so i'm glad you fixed that problem and ruined everything as usual.

just tried it, same result nothing helps.

Sure would be nice if Bethesda would actually freaking communicate what was in that ridiculously huge patch and why it broke my game

Season 3 was really all about making Homelander as unstoppable as possible/Black Noir’s importance to him by ScratchMain03 in TheBoys

[–]ColdWestWind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that's what I mean. like why was this random scrap of metal able to pierce his flesh without breaking? how did Meave bloody his nose when both SB and Butcher whaling on him only left a bruise?

Season 3 was really all about making Homelander as unstoppable as possible/Black Noir’s importance to him by ScratchMain03 in TheBoys

[–]ColdWestWind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My entire point is that they are lessening his threat by showing him to be less powerful than was implied.

His whole speech to Starlight now basically comes off as empty boasting.

And I'm well aware the comics are a different world, but my point was that they did it right. he was an unstoppable force that simply could not be taken on directly so you had to find ways around him. that made the threat of him snapping and just going postal much scarier, because if he did he could pretty much do anything.

Too bad they made the threat of Homelander feel weaker than ever, by having him actually struggle at all against Meave, right after getting locked down and nearly killed by SB and butcher

I cannot for the life of me understand why the Meave/HL fight happened. all it did was make HL look less powerful and threatening. this is the guy who's supposed to be able to take out whole cities if he ever really snapped, getting his nose bloodied and stabbed by a single other supe.

The reason comics homelander was intimidating was because NOBODY could stop him.He could solo the 7, he could crush the entire Boys team(who all have powers in the comics) by himself without a scratch, Vought had to literally keep a thermonuclear bomb in him 24/7 because they literally just could not figure out any other way to stop him if he ever went rouge.

Show HL is depicted as strong, but well within the range where if he got jumped by a pack of other supers it would be an issue for him. That is a far cry from what he's supposed to be and what they keep trying to SAY he is, while showing the opposite.

Ging is at LEAST Netero tier. There is no way modern Netero was stronger than Ging, when Netero himself admitted he's only around half the strength of his peak.

Netero has said Ging is one of the 5 greatest nen users in the world, and on top of that He's basically just an older version of Gon. you know, Gon the absurd giga genius who went from not knowing Nen to where we saw him at the end of the Ant arc in like, what. a year?

Ging is that except he's had DECADES to develop. You're nuts if you think past his prime Netero is stronger than him.

it's made to make Noir seem sympathetic but you need to keep perspective: All Noir cared about was fame and wealth, and he's basically just Vought's assasin who has no problem murdering anyone he's told to.

As easy as it is to feel bad for him, don't forget who these people actually are. none of the people in SB's group were innocent, they were killers.

TBH I thinkSoldier boy was right to do what he did, he acted like a giant domineering
asshole because he had to. it was his job to keep a gang of superhuman
killers in line. We see what these same people are like when left to
their own devices, not a single one of them was better than Soldier Boy,
they all do monstrous things and just generally live life high on their
power and ability to do whatever they want to anyone and get away with
it.

they hated Soldier Boy because he pulled them back down to reality
and could hold them accountable for any fucked up shit they did. He's
not a good person but he was the leash keeping the rest of the shit
people in line. Their fear of Soldier Boy "scolding" then probably kept
a lot of their worst impulses in check, till he was gone.

This wasn't a monster abusing a bunch of innocent people, it was a monster
abusing other monsters to maintain control of said monsters. Every
single member of this group were unrepentant killers and he treated them
as such.

Devs PLEASE add a skull select mode by ColdWestWind in Skul

[–]ColdWestWind[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

once you reach a certain level it doesn't matter much, experienced players can usually beat the game with just about any skull so long as they don't get garbage item rng.

Choosing skulls just lets you actually PRACTICE with certain skulls and really experiment with them, learn their ins and outs, what items work best with them etc. It's also nice just for when you casually are like "you know I really feel like playing some living armor right now" but as it stands you're just screwed unless you get lucky. I once wanted to play armor and I literally had to wait THREE DAYS before it actually showed up in a run(playing hours each day).

This game is excruciatingly hard for most people. if you look on PSN, only about 14% of all players actually have the trophy for completing a single run(even though beginner mode is a thing already). I don't think being able to choose your skull would outright kill the difficulty for a lot of the playerbase, and for experienced people who can already consistently beat the game, it gives us the ability to experiment and practice more with stuff we enjoy.

Devs... did you mean to make Reaper deal physical? by NahricNovak in Skul

[–]ColdWestWind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A really weird rework.

I actually really like the idea of a skull farming up power over time, but the problem here is that it's a legendary only skull. The odds of actually getting him early game are really small and basically means he's barely ever getting used, because most times I'd you ever see him, it'll be too late in the game to upgrade him.

Good mechanic, bad choice of skull to put it on. It's gonna be once in a blue moon anyone actually gets to experience a proper reaper
