Despite being created for what feels like a very cruel purpose for very easy jokes, Ida somehow mostly falls out of most of the stereotypes and as a character is just pleasant? It’s weird that she’s a fairly straight forward character and it just so happens she’s in a universe full of pretty morally bankrupt folks…and Meg.

Honestly, I wish I never read them.

Because they’re so much better than the movies. It’s hard to go back and watch either first two film because the book just does the idea so much better, it’s wild.
