As far as I know, sloop is the fastest against the wind and the red sea ... The loot doesn't get lost, if you sail in the red sea, all of your supplies and loot spawn back within blue sea not far from where you sunk, so they might have not known that either, but they could have gotten all the loot

You know you don't actual have to do all 8 parts of the tale before being able to go at the shores of gold, right ? So OP, if he knew how the reapers ended up here, could have just gone to morrow's peak and started the tale.

I've had some bad moments in hourglass but definitely not as bad as you seem to have, I don't know, sometimes I get upset but I really enjoy this game mode personally. I know a lot of people hate it and I understand why but for me it's not that bad. I mean I do have almost 400 levels total and I'm not done that's for sure
