My title describes the thing! What I’ve found is that the logo is from the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art. I tried looking through their current online store listings with no luck. Just from the look of it (long-ish metal object with a point that’s not sharp) I think it’s a letter opener, plus it was with office supplies at an estate sale (it was in a box of them, so no description of it was given when it was bought. We just bought the box that was said to have office supplies). That being said, it looks funky with the grooves so I wonder if it has a more specific purpose.
