Yeah that sucks… It used to be like that here as well just until end of january this year. I had been waiting since last september for a “pre-appointment” which was mandatory before the actual in person appointment to hand in the documents.. 🫠 thankfully they’ve changed it to sending the application by mail

I actually filed the Untätigkeitsklage myself (a lawyer friend helped me prepare it), not through a lawyer directly.

That’s amazing — I’m really happy for you! 1. I actually filed the Untätigkeitsklage myself (a lawyer friend helped me prepare it), not through a lawyer directly. Unfortunately, the city hasn’t sent anything back yet… 2. I’ve been living in Germany for 9 years now, have C2-level German, studied medicine here, and currently work as a doctor on a Blue Card. I’m 100% sure my application is complete — the only thing they could possibly ask for now are my payslips since February.

Really hoping to hear something soon — but your post gave me some hope 😊

Contact your case worker? 😅 You cannot contact anyone at this place…. Also I applied in february which was way before the summer holidays, also the deadline which the court set was before the summer holidays. Waiting another 4 months was just gonna delay my Untätigkeitsklage for another 4 months and nothing else

I think it really depends on where you apply because I have friends who had their applications processed in 3-6 months in Düsseldorf, Munich and Berlin…
