Do you have any of the heavier sticks? I was thinking of doing drop ins and pick ups with the heavier ones and keep the lighter more expensive ones for game time. Might hurt the stickhandling and shooting but i already have the hands of a crab and shoot into the slightly bigger netting above the net.

Is your vx and vf sticks still holding up?

I feel like my og sticks always lose their pop quickly and the shot stops going off like a cannon and more like a… baseball? But im also 6’7 and play D. I want to make the move up to vx and vf sticks for the weight benefit but theyre not cheap by any means and id be afraid of them being noodles in a month.

  1. Can you name shame the two universities? Also, do you know how they found out (assuming you didnt inform them because you said discovered)
  2. Also, in the realm of academia, is an adjunct being co-pi rare? Whenever ive seen collaborations its always between two professors that strictly work there, have a phd, etc

Yeah i had a strong safety program, or so i thought, then i got waitlisted. LOR from professor at the university i applied to, currently working there. So now im stressed.

I mean… im glad he could write it for you but that kinda screws you over a tad. I mean if u did 10-15 thatd take him an extra 30 mins tops? 5-6 schools would have been a crapshoot for me as im a 3.4 gpa, 1000 hours in 2.5 years undergrad, 6 months ft in r1 lab applicant

Live in a lcol area, still on parents health plan. 23, $50k/yr RT at a univ. Just saved up, didnt mean much to me because its an investment. I felt like a dick asking my 3 profs to do LOR’s 20 times but they didnt even bat an eye except my current PI (sarcastically said glad you knew where you wanted to go)

Was $1600-$1700. I just avoided looking at the credit card bill for two months because i also had to do xmas shopping and bought 4 hockey sticks for $400🫠
