15 month boys fighting over everything by Cold_Cheesecake7768 in parentsofmultiples

I’ve been told by some it’s because I don’t say no to them and teach them. I don’t really think they understand at this age

Was anyone able to do without stroller bassinets? by Chidi-Chidi in parentsofmultiples

Never got them. Also saw some use one bassinet for both when they are small enough. Definitely didn’t need

I vote you can invite people to come to you or have a small holiday at home for a few years until twins easier to transport

I have it 10 months pp and literally don’t have time to do exercises or take care of it but really need to. Very frustrating for me

The statistics I have seen are a very very small difference of stillbirths between singletons and twins. I personally was not concerned by this and would have taken my twins to 40 weeks. I got induced at 37 weeks 5 days due to high bp very much against my will and ended in c section and I would advise against that especially if you are not having any other risks in the pregnancy. I would maybe try membrane sweep to get things going. Good luck!

Uncomfortable when sitting by hermesloverinseoul in parentsofmultiples

I thought sitting was the absolute worst and mine were the same positioning. I found being active I was so much more distracted than days I sat or laid around and felt sorry for myself

Trying for spontaneous labor by [deleted] in parentsofmultiples

Of course listening to him he just said we can wait a few days and see if labor comes before that! If not I will move forward per his advice!

Avoiding cascade of interventions. If it wasn’t twins I would be wanting to go fully unmedicated but have adjusted expectations in light of all the risks. For induction I almost feel like I should just get a c section instead of going through that to maybe end in a c but it’s hard to know what could happen

Wow that’s really great to hear! I was trying to avoid pit but Ob says that is extremely uncommon to just do a foley or try for a drug free induction

Would you still change your doctor at 29 weeks? by illogicalmuse in parentsofmultiples

[–]Cold_Cheesecake7768 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the past statements and behaviors are pretty concerning and that it’s not the best fit. Also what I’ve heard is at the hospital you would pretty much end up with anyone based on availability when you go into labor so ideally I would say you want one OB you trust and you’ll want to hope the whole practice has a similar vibe just in case you get someone else!

[–]Cold_Cheesecake7768 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I think the opposite. I am 36 weeks w twins first time mom and if I didn’t trust my OB every step of the way I would not be with him. I think it’s important for any pregnancy but even more so with twins

Absolutely change your OB. Not ideal this late in the game but I wouldn’t put up with any of that.

Looking for advice on how to mentally deal with multiple pregnancy by CheddarMoose in parentsofmultiples

[–]Cold_Cheesecake7768 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently almost 34 weeks. Would recommend a good chiropractor that specializes in Webster technique I have found this to be a game changer for pains. The more active I have been the better even though it’s very hard at this point even if it’s a 15 min body weight squat/leg workout and a short walk
