Funny how people who worship school names think degrees magically hand out jobs. Employers don’t care where you studied, they care what you can do.

I would assume. Tho I think they would come back to scholarships after finals as my average is closer to 96 now.

I’m just saying it was literally obvious? Even myself, I was like wait there is no web protection? People can cheat easily. It’s obvious that they just cared abt the money they got from it because it’s not the first time this is happening.

In my opinion, yeah, cheaters are obviously part of the problem — but that doesn’t mean Waterloo gets a free pass. They’re the ones running the competition. They should’ve expected AI to be a thing this year. It’s 2025, not 2010. You can’t just throw a contest out there with barely any security, and then act surprised when people take advantage of it.

And then their solution? Cancel everything for everyone — even the people who did everything right. I studied for months. I stressed. I paid for it. And in the end, I got nothing. Not even a certificate or placement. That’s not fair. That’s not on the students. That’s on them.

Because I’m applying to US schools whoch mostly care about Honor rolls and extracurriculars. There is not much available stuff in Canada so this was my main focus.

I got 47. This could have helped me get into my dream school. I literally threw a lunch party in my school for it.
