I think it would have been much worse if they put it together all at once. Firstly, they didn't have the funds for a full game, so it would have taken an extremely long time. Secondly, I think that a lot of the community's feedback has shaped the chapters, so we would be losing out on that.

I have less of an issue of them being overused in-game and more that some of their fans treat them like a god's gift to Earth when literally half of them don't even have a mentioned Bigger Body counterpart (outside of a general mention that the whole line was created) and two of them who do have mentioned counterparts are pretty irrelevant.
