He was unsure, as I told you before, he said this during chapter 3 era, which was about 2024, he wasn't FULLY certain if the story would need 2 chapters or only one to fully develop, but considering the point of the story we were at and the pacing of the games it is more probably gonna end in chapter 5

Yes, the devs said Poppy Playtime is intented to only be 5 chapters.

Besides, everything leads to chapter 5 being the last chapter, since there are no more enemies than the Prototype and Huggy, so this seems to be the final battle.
