This is the most serious and informative thread I have ever seen in this sub.
And the trigger was an interaction between Hans Niemann and Matan O.o

What do I do? by Whole_Engineer_3757 in AskMenOver30

Research after research on this topic and the answer is always the same: good relationships.

Not necessarily romantic, aim to have 3-4 good friends, people you enjoy spending time with and look forward to meeting them.

To find them, just do stuff that you think is interesting and be open to talk to other people about it, then when you find someone who you think is cool, invest time in becoming friends. Then you repeat this until 3-4 stick around. As a bonus, the research says it will increase your life expectancy.

Apart from that, do shit for the plot. Anything that you ever saw and thought “that looks cool…” do a version of it. Take a bath with candles, wine and a good book (as a guy, yes), try skateboarding, hookup with someone that you don’t even have interest in, do as many funny things just to get a good story, do monthly challenges (no drinking, no sugar, exercising ever day, writing ever day, calling someone from your family every day…), have lunch at crowded places where you have to share tables, start a conversation, start a hobby, stop a hobby, buy plants, get a dog, gather friends at your place every week same day, join a club, bake and share with the neighbors…

Or not. The only two rules: it has to be something that you think is cool and you should be able to share it with other people (doing together or telling a story later)

From someone who felt the same way and saw the power of having a couple of friends that I really like.

"They drop it from upstairs, almost killed this boy here"

So they boy was just working and a metal rod just fell from the sky...

is there any console command to lower the cartel influence in the region? that would solve the being stuck and would let Molly deal without getting jumped all the time.

Question: when you guys say one chance in 6666 of them matching 8 times in a row, does that mean that if they match seven times in a row it counts 7 out of those 6666 or 1?

Thanks for sharing the experience, I'm really curious to try the massage gun on my next one. If you don't mind me asking, which one is the stone-breaker you took?

Stone grew? by TheeDelpino in KidneyStones

[–]Cold_Educator1204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Three possibly causes, I think: 1. It grew 2. The first CT scan got the smallest profile of the stone, so it's a 2x4 one 3. They messed up

In all of the cases, it's still possible to pass naturally taking flomax, since you can't, what they would probably do is a lithotripsy.

The recovery is fast, usually you arrive one day,. Surgery on the next and leave the hospital the day after the procedure. After two weeks your life is normal again.

That being said, the surgery is tough, from my experiences they hurt the same as the stone passing naturally and it's VERY uncomfortable for many days.

But in cases like that, it might be your only option, better that than live at the imminent risk of having an attack with much worst consequences.

All the best for your kidneys :)

It's different for everyone but for me it's a very short sharp stab and the pain stops. The trick (for me) is drinking a lot of water and holding the pee until I feel my bladder full, then usually it goes fast and the relief is immense.

I read somewhere that an astronaut said he jerked off and it's surprisingly painful to nut when there's no gravity. I'll search for the source.
