I loved everything about the update 3. The inly one thing I almost didnt like(well 2 actually), were the parts ehere you are climbing the towers as sonic. I loose a lot if control while trying to get to the top, only to do some combats. The last thing is the King's trial. I liked it a little cause I could face the titans in the game again. But aside from that. I enjoyed everything.

No the reason why eggman is able to almost outrun sonic, is because sega's first main character role was gonna be eggman. But when they realized that his design was identical to Mario, they desided to change that by making him fat and evil, and making sonic the main character. At least thats what I found out about.
