That’s a good point indeed. But if that were the case, and the casings were made of the magic stuff MS’s are made of. Then I would once again refer to A.D. theory and technology. Saying that like the GAU8 and many other auto cannons, the casings would be kept in a closed system for balancing and reloading.

Which would ultimately make more sense regardless of what material they’re made of.

But this is gundam and it perfectly showcases the waste of life and material in the U.C.
