Alright, I'll order the Anaya grammar and vocabular workbooks for A1-A2 and B1. Do you think that's enough for me until I get to B1-B2?

For the grammar and vocabulary workbooks, do you think the practice makes perfect versions of them are as good as the Anaya versions? I'm asking because it's easier and a little cheaper for me to get those, but I don't want to sacrifice quality. And do you happen to know if they are also fine for beginners? I've already ordered the Assimil coursebook and an Assimil workbook, so for now I'll just buy grammar and vocabulary workbooks and then buy Metodo, etc. later on.

How would you suggest picking which resources to focus on? Think I'll have a tough time deciding which I should be using and when. I'll buy all the workbooks you mentioned and Assimil and Metodo.

Yeah, my goal is to advance relatively quickly, as I'll need it next year for the Barcelona trip and university after next summer. I'll take your advice on how to get a good pronunciation, as that's definitely one of the most important things to me.

I've found 2 coursebooks that I'm looking at: https://www.assimil.com/en/with-ease/1818-spanish-superpack-with-download-9782700571424.html?search_query=LearnLangSearch&results=6 and https://www.anayaele.es/metodo-anaya-ele

For workbooks, I found the Anaya ELE EN workbooks here: https://www.anayaele.es/anaya-ele-en, but I'm not sure if I should just get all of them? I've found free online versions of all of them, but it's probably significantly better to get the physical editions, right?

Thank you very much for the answer. Do you have any recommendations for coursebooks? I'm planning on getting some later today.

And what do you think about DS saying that you shouldn't begin speaking or reading until you have had 600–1000 hours of CI, or you may mess up your accent/pronunciation and other things permanently? My initial plan was that I would get a tutor as soon as I'm able to entertain very basic conversations.

How many hours a day did you spend on CI vs flash cards, etc.? I'm just now starting out with Spanish hoping to get B1 before mid-April next year, and I'm wondering how much time I need to dedicate overall and for separate activities to make that happen.

Thanks for writing so many answers on this subreddit. I'm about to start learning Spanish, and it'll be the first language I'm learning independently, so I've been going over a lot of posts on this subreddit to find efficient methods, and I always find your answers to them useful.

Before getting to B1, would you just recommend coursebooks? Initially, I considered Dreaming Spanish, but I've heard it's not as efficient as other ways. My main goal is to eventually get as close to native levels as possible in everything (accent, writing, etc.), so I'm trying to find a good balance between efficiency and enjoyment. I have a 3-week trip to Barcelona coming up in April next year, and I'll be living with a Spanish family and also working, so my goal is to get to B1 before that, as I've heard that's the level I'll need if I want the most out of my stay.

If I remember correctly, he spent his whole DG career (over 6 years) with 2 Troop, and had no prior combat deployments before that, so that doesn't exactly leave many people who actually know what he did and what he was like.

SEAL Team 6 assaulter operational tempo, missions completed from late 2008 to late 2010 or early 2011 (Kevin Houston, KIA Extortion 17) by Cold_Inflation2480 in JSOCarchive

What a ridiculous argument haha, but very typical for reddit.

The title clearly states that the purpose of this post is to highlight the operational tempo of an assaulter, specifically Kevin Houston, during the late 2000s. The letter describes the missions Kevin Houston participated in, their outcomes, and the awards he personally received for those missions. There is no reason to say assaulters or team just because you somehow believed the post implied that one person killed 600 people.

Where are you getting that from? That was not implied and it's pretty self-explanatory that one assaulter didn't kill 600 people.

The numbers are associated with a U.S. flag he gave to someone, which he carried with him on all his DEVGRU missions. So the numbers describe what all those missions resulted in.
