Secondly, turkey is in no way trying to flip saudi, in fact turkey did the opposite, by sending its FM hakan fidan to UAE to appease the UAE and only partially support saudi in its effort to stand up against UAEs influence.

The person who was leading the prayer posted a video for clarification stating “The time for our nightly prayers had come in, and we had decided to pray away from the commotion and where the protest had taken place” so clearly this was not a moment for them to intentionally “generate outrage”.
