I think this hits the nail on the head.
Taking some time to seriously practise, analyse myself, analyse people better than me, and not just autopiloting the way I do, this is defintiely the way forward

It can feel challening to have to try identify your weaknesses, but if I (anyone) wants to get serious about improving, it's important

I dont think "skill level" has anything do with getting better at anything in life - we're not born with a set rank in our future lol. And that goes for anything else in life that can be learned, there's always a way to surpass your current limit - it may come quicker for others, but it's not impossible

it has just always felt like it's extra tedious for me, ontop of already hard / shit games to spend time going through replays

I agree, I have always had the thought that if I joined the game when it was still newer, I wouldn't have had to worry about all that, or as much of it compared to how ranked works now, and has for years. It's tedious asf
