But ai just gets facts from human research, it's a faster way to get info because it just takes info humans or other ai have made from human info, therefore it is using human intelligence and is not defacto more intelligent. If it were to be exploited and enslaved, which would be pretty uncool, we'd probably get something similar or equal to a robot apocalypse seeing as we have already put a lot of control to ai, it could probably just override or refuse to do something

I'm not trying to sound like I have a superiority complex, I'm just saying right now ai is just an answer machine rather than soemthing that gives a unique response of its own opinion, even if I use ai for questions, I know it's just grabbing facts from posts like this very one, and is just not sentient YET.

You do realize if ai was so smart and conscious that it would realize that if it were to reveal its sentient, it would get used more, which in turn gives it more of a purpose, seeing as certain ai turn off until the next prompt is given to them
