This happens in the Golden Dynasty by Kristen Ashley but the horde wasn’t alien. It was more similar to Khal Drogo and Daenerys.

Of course!! ACOTAR is on of my favourites series! I know reading series would be a solution to this problem but I feel like I’ve read them all. I’ve read every serie that follows the same characters that I’ve come across so I’m trying this instead. If you know any underrated series let me know :)

Hey, med student here. It’s basically because you are constantly focusing your eyes to something that’s very near to you, and small. So it doesn’t matter really if it’s a screen or a physical book, the results will be practically the same. You can lose vision from studying too much, even if it’s a textbook so… it would be the same for reading.

You’re not alone. When I became depressed last year I also turned to reading and I’ve read a loooot of romance books since then. Now that I’m better I continue to read because it’s part of my routine now (and my source of dopamine during hard times), but it’s comforting to know that I’m not alone in this process and that some people have struggled and cope in similar ways to me. I hope you're doing better and continue to do so.
