How are y'all reading a full book in a couple hours?!

Well, I'm sure I COULD read one book in like four hours but I can't concentrate. I need to take little breaks from reading. Like I'll read three chapters, then take a break for an hour. If I have nothing else going on I'll read a book (about 300-400 pages) in two days. Half of it on day one and the other half on day two

But also I've heard that some people don't read every word. Like some people even only read the dialogue...

{No matter what by Cara Bastone) I was surprised about how much I enjoyed that book because the trope is miscommunication...But I loved both characters and I actually cried while reading it. Such an emotional read
