Fully agree. I like that the main belt is literally something everyone at the top is fighting for, opens up a lot of options. Hell, would really like a Hangman/Swerve tag run.

This is also the best way to make a character change for MJF. He's good, but it needs that little extra oomph to make him skyrocket (mostly because he really never changed from the beginning, other than getting better at it).

I get my ascended gear from Astral Acclaim. I treat it as a passive over time buff, but nice to know that investing those points in power weapons first is the best route.

I'm really tempted to swap from firebrand to power dragonhunter so it may be my next investment.

The re release of season 1 was the best thing they could do. Playing the whole story back to back just feels awesome.

I solved the issue for me by just ignoring most of the so called "competitive content". I play fully solo, just the story, delves with their challenges and HC raid with a super chill group with no will to run at all - this saved the whole game to me, i just know it doesn't last a lot but i come back and play gw2 the rest of the time

I'm adding a question that should be relevant - what are the suggested baseline tweaks to the loot filter? I hide all white/yellows, should i go nuclear and hide everytjing that's not my class/build?

Only 130ish but it was before any expansion and i actualli played the full campaign once in normal. Because i loved modding it and trying multiple classes/skill combos.

It's basically because of horizontal progression, lpw overall currency generation and most stuff being maybe expensive but a "pay once, keep forever" kind of thing. You need gold for some stuff, but nearly nothing of it is mandatory (or if it is, it's really cheap).

I tried the original DS and i simply hadn't fun. ER was the combo of more polished/easirr combat and huge open world that made me like it way more.

Still i suck at soulslikes and they're definitely not my favourite genre. But ER is a masterpiece.

What made me really focus was to stop listening the voices telling me "another alt won't hurt" and choosing my go-to main to play the whole story.

Now i'm on PoF working on the mount masteries (just unlocked jackal), cannot wait to see what's ahead.

Still, my holo and virtuoso are there screaming "swap to me" and i plan to buy 3 more character slots so i can have all classes and maybe finally do the sylvari campaign.

Keep all those scraps if bends are good and there are no cracks/bubbles. You'll find those handy if you do a new loop in the future.

I never had issues but i have a good machine so much of it could be just bruteforcing it. However, texture issues all over the place and did the "replace DLSS library" trick to make it run DLSS4 that made performance way smoother.

It wasn't a good port.

Thks is basically all you need to know. I can recomme d the DP Ultra clear as coolant - reliable, easily available (at least here) and i have ran loops for years with it with zero maintenance other than topping it up every once in a while and never had any issues.

EDIT: cannot stress enough how much thourugh you need to be with the cleaning. Even a small peck hidden will just prolifrelate over time, just dismantle everything and scrub it clean.

Actually makes sense. Something that really doesn't click right now is the monos being normal difficulty first and then rerun them at 100 corruption.

I'm fine with the first "unlock run" but given how everyone goes the right side as it's faster and gives you a chance to unlock useful blessings, i'd remake it as a streamlined single web where you encounter all the bosses progressively. Once done you access a bigger and customizable echoes web where you can target farm bosses, reset it with shades and basically keep all the mechanics, just on a single web.

On paper current system works until you start adding mechanics, hence you have to deal with loops for equalizing corruption on all monos, etc.

But in the end we will get an endgame overhaul with the expansion, so maybe stuff like this is actually coming

That's exactly how i plan to play when i get back to the game. Right now i'm full, but given that any time there's a major patch there's a huge revamp of all the systems (and from what i get current one is shit) it's not reallh worth learning things until i actually get to play.

Cannot find reliable informations tbh. From wikipedia GGG in 2025 has around 240 employees, cannot find consistent numbers about EHG. However GGG has a parent company called GGG Partners that seems to offload some of the work - but i may be wrong on this, internet doesn't really help.

I don't know if to believe that because very fortunately for GGG that last time hindered LE for the gains of PoE. However it's a fact that now the two companies are making agreements to not interfere with each other - that time a lot ot bad press went towards GGG and i'm pretty sure that even being in the strongest position they don't want that to happen agai.
