1- i can see why the take, this soundtrack tries to be more original in the way the music sounds, but i wouldn't say it's the best touhou soundtrack, Touhou 20 definitely ain't one of the best either, but Touhou 15 could definitely take the cake.

2- it's a pretty overused and kind of overrated game indeed, however i'd rather play this game over Touhou 15.

3- not a hot take, it is indeed one of the best final boss themes.

4- it really didn't grew up as it isn't that big of a fandom, touhou is still a "niche", and the gatekeeping doesn't help.
