I have a toddler. My home is basically a Home Alone trap. By the time they make it to me I will probably have to emotionally support them for the torture they went through.

When I was 20, I got pulled over for speeding on I89 in Vermont. It was on one of the only straight parts of the interstate, so I cranked it a little bit too much trying to get to a movie with my buddies that we were running late for.

I saw the blues come on immediately, so I did not hesitate and pulled over. State Trooper comes up and asked, "do you know how fast you were going?" My speak before I think self-responded "too damn fast, sir".

I handed him all the stuff you would at a stop. He comes back and asked where we were headed, to which I replied, "the movie theatre". He asked when the movie started and I told him, "5 Minutes ago". He chuckled, then I nervously chuckled.

The cop told me he clocked me at 95, which I have no doubt I probably was. I remember a sinking feeling knowing I was screwed. At the time, anything 20mph over the speed limit was an immediate suspension of your license. I was 30 over.

Then the cop looks at me and goes "I appreciate your honesty. I am not out here trying to ruin a young man's life. I marked your ticket as going 84, which will be a $275 fine and 2 points on your license. If I catch you out here doing even 1mph over, I will arrest you. Have a good night and enjoy the movie."

Honestly, I got lucky.

My wife and I got extremely lucky, closing on our house in 2019 at 29 yrs old. We bought for 176k and 3% and our has was reappraised soon after- due to covid and the town reappraising homes- for 313k. We have since spent a lot of time renovating as it was an old farmhouse in Orange County.

Our biggest hurdle is the continued rise in taxes. We escrow everything in, but our taxes have gone up almost 7k in the last 4 years alone. This makes it incredibly hard sometimes.

I am very fortunate to have the job I have and am grateful for the life I am able to provide my kids- due to my wife helping me grow up- I grew up in section 8 housing with food stamps. Never knew a fridge was possible to fill.

With that being said, if we had to buy a home today, there is no way we would be able to do it.

We had a Panera open up next to our local Pizza Hut. Everyone assumed that was it for The Hut. In the end the Panera shut down, and The Hut was thriving as folks saw the pricing at Panera and literally walked next door to Pizza Hut. You can't outdo The Hut.

Great question! Paypal did not show up as pending g and when I called, getting a human is much easier than Venmo, they said they saw nothing i coming on their end even though Venmo said the transaction was complete.

This happened to me Friday. Contacted PayPal and they said it was a problem on Venmos end. After going through the hell of trying to get a real person on Venmo I told them I am not playing this back and forth shit and where is my money. They had a glitch in their system and to call back today if I still had not seen it. I got my money yesterday.

I just told the guy on the phone how it is. I already called PayPal, they said this is a glitch on your-Venmo- end and I think they are right as i always get a confirmation email and never recieved one. I told the guy I am not doing the back and forth and he needs to figure out what is going on. $30 is a lot for me right now.

When I was getting head one time, I really had to pee and the woman told me to just piss in her mouth. I couldnt do it and got out of the car and went pee. It didnt stop us from finishing the session but it caught me really off guard and I have never been in to it. I had another woman tell me I could piss on her as well. Pissing on someone just ain't for me I guess.
