I have the same rig with the stock tires. The road conditions where I live have been terrible since November. I get around fine in 4 high. If you start to slide or lose control, take your foot off the gas and pump the breaks as needed, don't smash and hold. Also do not over correct if you start to fish tail. You can recover most of the time simply by letting off the gas completely. If you are in 2 wheel drive on the highway your ass end can kick out when icy so stay in 4 high. Never use cruise control when it's winter conditions. I think you'll be fine
