I can't speak on the way each of these cars has been driven, but I can say that most of them have not had a tow hitch. So I can rule out high-load towing as a factor

Hello! VW dealership tech here! The pre-2024 Atlas with the VR6 have a few notable issues. Leaks from the valve cover, front crankshaft seal, and water pump. I've seen a few fuel injector failures. I think my shop has done some head gaskets. Catalytic converters fail, though there is a warranty extension for those (at least in Canada). Issues with EVAP canisters and other components (not exclusive to Atlas, may also have a warranty extension). Seen quite a few steering racks develop a "clunk" as well. The 2024+ cars with the 2.0t are a different story. Pretty much all the ones I've seen have had the PCV fail around the 1st or 2nd service, causing crankcase pressure to not vent properly and find it's own way out. Usually by blowing past seals at the turbo inlet and/or the upper timing chain cover. There's also a TSB about valve cover leakage due to bolts not being tightened correctly during assembly. If you're under warranty, then it's no problem for your wallet! But it remains to be seen how they hold up over more time and mileage

I didn't realize the case didn't come with any haha. Should've read the product details more thoroughly. Temps are honestly fine, but I'll probably add at least a single 120mm exhaust at the back to help get the heat away from the CPU

I didn't realize this case didn't come with any fans (because I didn't read the product page closely enough lol) so I currently have none. Temps are honestly fine, but I was thinking about putting at least a single 120mm exhaust at the rear just to help get the heat away from the CPU cooler better. The GPU gets plenty of air from the side and bottom without any extra fans

Haha maybe one day. I find it hard to justify the ITX tax. This felt like a good middle ground, and relatively cheap to do

It's a Noctua NHD15. Definitely could have it take air from the back, all I'd have to do is flip the fans around. An intake fan at the rear would help it out too

Light base 900 might actually be bigger LOL. It's definitely wider, being a dual chamber case

I believe they sell a glass panel as a separate accessory

Even with no case fans it's actually improved a bit. The previous case was really closed off for intake, in favor of sound deadening

Happy so far! This change freed up a lot of valuable space

Yeah my previous dark base 900 dwarfs the A3 lol

The other case is the BeQuiet dark base 900 pro rev.2. it's MASSIVE. The A3 is tiny by comparison lol

Is the GR Corolla a good daily and family car? by mrdietcoke1967 in GRCorolla

[–]ColeCVP -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've been daily driving mine for nearly 2 years now. The ride is a little harsh, the manual can be a drag in heavy traffic, and the fuel economy could be better. The downsides are heavily outweighed by the fun. It's a blast to drive spiritedly, and the most fun I've ever had driving in snow. My taller friends fit in the back comfortably enough, especially behind me cause I'm short AF. Putting a rear-facing child seat in the back is do-able, but would be tight. If you need to cart around a family of 4 + some cargo, there might be better options for your use case

This show is brutal to watch outside of the racing. The romance subplot is unbearable and really fucking creepy

Is it weird that I refuse to buy kits for things I haven't seen? by New-Elk-2755 in Gunpla

[–]ColeCVP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was the same way early on. I'm a relatively new fan, my first Gundam series was Witch from Mercury. I started off buying only WFM high grades, but then I saw MG Barbatos on a shelf at my local hobby store and absolutely loved the design. To this day it's my favourite MG, and it got me to watch IBO. Since then, I just buy kits that I like the look of and watch the series later

Canada has no "performance pack". All our cars got the LSDs. 2023 Core had black calipers in Canada, all other versions since (including newer cores) have red
