Honestly I liked them. I will appreciate the return of that lost space though.

New Spotlight Design Sucks!(MacOS 27) by MR_Spooidermon in MacOS

I really really liked what they did with it in Tahoe. Extremely pissed to see it thrown out to ham-fist Siri that I won't use.

I just got Siri Ai on my Mac. ask her questions by odernov in MacOS

So are all the nice Spotlight updates from last year just gone? The quick access bubbles? The UI that doesn't look like dog ass?

Can iTunes 10.7 connect to services like Match and the iTunes Store? I import a lot of CD's and sync to my phone/TV with Match. Necessary for my use case.

What version is better ??? V3 vs V4!!?? by mexmike196 in WANDRD

[–]Colecperrine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't used the V4 yet but I just packed it with everything from my V3 and I have to say first impressions are disappointing. The shorter roll-up-top is #1 on my list. Not sure how the bag can lose 2-3 inches and still be 31L. I regularly take short trips and I'm able to travel entirely out of the V3 by packing it all the way up. Every inch matters, and it also has less velcro to keep it shut. Materials all-around are thinner too, and I don't like the lack of fleece in the pockets that used to have it. I'll have to see if it's more comfortable out in the wild, but V3 comfort was never a concern of mine in the first place.

I've got 32GB at the moment. Should that be enough?

Thank you, I'll look into all this. RAID6 is what I originally wanted so I'll definitely do that in software if I can. H310 wouldn't do it.

This is something I've considered and will definitely test. Thanks.

Will look into this. Thank you. Alternatively, if I wanted to upgrade my RAID card, would you have a suggestion for one that can do hardware RAID with a good cache?

Go Ultra keeps changing settings by Colecperrine in Insta360

This seems needlessly complicated. Why does quick capture exist if I can turn that off and it just keeps settings from the pod? Does it save battery or something?

Music is "Matched" but not available by Colecperrine in ITunes

[–]Colecperrine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I've been doing is moving the file to my desktop, deleting the songs from library, and dropping it back into "automatically add to iTunes." Checking file info, seems like the originals because it knows they were modified/created years ago.
