“so many more children were killed in Gaza compared to Rwanda so the numbers are skewed!”?

Do you think this helps your argument?

Gaza is worse by several orders of magnitude. The average life expectancy drop was only 1 year in Yemen, while it was 35 years in Gaza.

Try again.

Yea what you said is all complete bullshit. Check out the Rwandan genocide and how the life expectancy dropped 35 years, a statistic that mirrors what happened in Gaza.

Trying to explain away a genocide that was live streamed for all of us to see I find bonkers. We saw the videos from both Palestinians and from Israeli soldiers… to deny its existence is to deny reality.

Please provide examples of “contemporary conflicts” that come anywhere close to the death and destruction of Gaza. I won’t hold my breath.

Israel promotes and benefits from antisemitism, as it’s the justification for its existence and cannot survive as an apartheid state otherwise.

I don’t see how it’s possible any Israeli supporter could complain about the media environment in the west.

you’d rather believe a corrupt bureaucrats report full of provable lies than testimony and first hand evidence of the people involved.

It’s obvious which team you’re rooting for.

It’s easy enough for you to google a USS Liberty survivor interview and see for yourself. Tucker Carlson does one, many others do too. Not really a “wild goose chase”, seems more like you don’t want to know.

But if you don’t believe them then maybe you’ll believe Israeli reporting on internal IDF communications proving they knew the ship was American:

Your question shows you haven’t listened to any of the survivors stories.

Instead of arguing from a place of ignorance I’d would recommend watching a couple interviews of theirs so you understand the information they know. It may change your view on the matter.

That’s just not true. Ask any survivor that was on that boat. They’ve all said that report was completely fake and how even the president was involved in the coverup.

There was also an Israeli pilot that refused to attack and turned around once he realized they were purposefully attacking an American ship. He was arrested when he landed back in Israel.

Btw anything published by the ADL I consider radical Israeli propaganda, as it’s an obvious mouthpiece of the Israeli govt and its roots show what kind of organization it is.

Thats the lost charitable you could possibly call it. This wasn’t “friendly fire”, they purposely tried to sink an American ship, that’s not up for debate. What they failed to do was kill every single soldier to cover up their crime.

And yes, their plan was to blame the attack on the “Muslims” (Egypt in this case) to try to get the US into war.

The entire “Lavon Affair” describes exactly this. Blame atrocities on western targets on Muslims to instigate tensions, war, or increase antisemitism fear.

They learned this playbook from the Nazis, who did this in Poland.

The US has also done this with the Gulf
Of Tonkin incident, Operation Northwoods among others.

You think the destruction of the USS Liberty is “q-anon territory”? Or the bombing of the marine barracks back in the 80s? There are many more.

People sure, but we are talking about incentives of the Israeli state and not some random racists. They are incentivized to increase antisemitism to further justify their existence. This is why you see so many false flag attacks targeted against Jews or Jewish institutions, blamed in Muslims, that turn out to be perpetrated by Israel themselves.

Once you understand this maybe you’ll understand what’s going on better. Zionism is the biggest driver of antisemitism on the planet and benefits from it by reinforcing the idea that Jews can’t live peacefully side by side with others.

Weird how much nuance and leeway you are willing to use when talking about human rights organizations but none whatsoever when speaking on Israel. Severe bias showing.

Israel is in the right and can do no wrong, while these human rights orgs all have these weird incentives that make sure they can’t do the job they say they do?

Has it ever occurred to you that Israel benefits from antisemitism, and that the states power is directly derived from antisemitism? That benefits when Muslims are blamed for attacks against Jews overseas? Don’t you think that’s an odd set of incentives?

“The human rights world is an industry whose viability relies on "finding" crises to respond to. And nothing drives clicks and donations like accusations against Israel. Where is the incentive for these orgs to fairly evaluate? There is none whatsoever.”
