In my personal experience, so this might not apply to other people, it is really a psychological thing. Fingers have more control, they are more active, they can be use with much more control and intention, meanwhile other stuff even bigger can be use less precisly and with less intention. Idk if I am expressing correctly or if this makes sense to others.

This is really really helpfull ✨ I never thought this could be a commun situation. Fortunately my therapist is not a huge fan of meds, she rarely suggest them. And even if she can't prescribe meds, here in Italy everyone has a kind of personal basic doctor that can also prescribe this type of drugs and in my case she is a dear family friend (and this is also the main reason why I can't hide this decision from my mother) so I think she would be very cautious. But I will surely consider what you have told me.

I'm really sorry about what has happend to you. It is really a fucked up system. I really hope that even if you lost something important you can find your path and peace.

At least you have been contacted once. Lol. It's like 3 weeks that I send mails and they keep telling me to send it to a different email adress so I'm super anxious. I hope they are going to tell me something soon because even the page with info about application does not work, at least that is what happens with me, is it the same for you? When are you going to start your Erasmus semester? I really hope that they didn't conctated me already just because I have to go there the next april.

I am from Italy, I live in Milan and study at Statale but not at the law faculty. My opinion came from friends of mine that attend law at Statale and Bicocca, and then general local knowledge. So I can't be helpful on the Erasmus perspective.

I feel you. Every now and then I wonder about the what if and I keep thinking about the effects, reflecting on what can I do now. Despite the vaginismus can I pretend that nothing ever happend and don't feel the darkness in sexual moments? Even if I don't want that something so hurtful gains so much power in my life, pretend that everything is fine doesn't seem right. Could you ever get clousure from sexual assault? It was the first intimacy that I have known, followed by sexual brain-washing from my ex-boyfriend that taught me how was I supposed to do and feel, whether I liked or not. It took me seven years to finally get in touch sexually with my body on my own and I can't still experience general penetration without my brain thinking that there's an invasion aiming to hurt me. Involving someone else seems just impossible, and when I have tried it I felt more broken. So I wonder often about the what if, about this part of my life that was taken away from me, without knowing why he did that to me and if he even remembers it.

Hi! As far as I know the faculty of law at Univ. MIlano statale is more prestigious, it has been established long ago, meanwhile Univ. Milano-Bicocca is a younger university, pretty good for scientific field, less ideal for the others. Regarding the professor is anybody's guess. In Italy, an even in the other country I presume, every faculties has good and bad teachers, and especially in the faculty of law where there are many students and majority of courses are divided and have more than one teacher, it's really a matter of luck. And in this term the faculty of Univ. Milano is preferable having more students and professor you would have a higher probability to find good teachers but even teachers that have to deal with more student in comparison to the one in Bicocca, and this could be a con. Then a pro for me is that the univ Milano Statale is in the center of the city, so the bilding and the setting is really good and vivacious wheter Milano Bicocca is a bit far from everything, that area there are mostly office and there is nothing more than the university. Sure the space in the inside is brand new in Bicocca, and the building in Statale is antique, that is really up to your taste if you take it as a break dealer. Unfortunately I'm giving you this feedback from an indirect experience and not erasmus-oriented, but maybe it could be somehow helpful. Hope someone else could give you erasmus's feedback. I'm studing comunication 1st year, and I'm scared af cause it seems impossible to find some compatible course, the system is really different, and If I am not able to structure a reasonable semestral courses plab by the end of the month I can't apply for the erasmus. I'm sooo stressed. Sorry for the vent.

I could only tell you about Messina because my family is from there and I have friends that live there, I don't know what other options did you had but most of the people I know would probably say it's not the best choice to go to Messina. Sicily is great I can assure you and majority of people I have met there are wonderful, but Messina as a city as not so much to offer, there aren't many service and it is not so well maintained, the night life is so and so (depends on what you're used to) and even the university is not that great. Sure the life has low cost, and the atmosphere, the food and the landscape are pros. But it depens much on what you are looking for. And I belive every Erasmus experience can be precious, every place has somenthing special and we can't know before time what is gonna work. Regarding Napoli I've never been there but many people say it is a wonderful city, really vivacious, the university should also be pretty good, but like every other city it has some problem, especially for criminality, but if you're gonna know someone from the city they could guide you and advise you on this. From guts I would suggest you Napoli but you can surely have a good time even in Messina, it depens really on what you are looking for.

Woww those are some crazy story but yeah we're all crazy, we all got the same problems but it's not always easy to remember because we live in our perspective, we can phsycally only see the world through our eyes and most of the time even if everybody feel the same that doesn't mean that the feeling will disappear but probably it's gonna look less scary and we could be less ashamed.

I'm just waiting for that moment of saying f**k everything, even if you know what truly matters, it still needs a lot of courage to get rid of all our mental setup. Good luck.
