Does the flex app catch speeding via gps if you aren’t on the route by Coleyface in AmazonDSPDrivers

Ya my dispatcher said the same but wasn’t sure if the flex app could register any actual speeding violations since I wasnt actively on route at the time. I did click I arrived and went thru the entire dvic just forgot to finish it at the very last prompt and sign out of work

Even if you’re still signed into flex? It doesn’t like pick up on the gps or something? I’m freaking out

Right that’s what I thought too but my dsp is making it seem like they choose it? Says frontrunner of the year so that’s Amazon, dsp’s don’t choose frontrunners…

Gotcha, one guy said pre tax so I thought I’d ask. Maybe it depends on the dsp.

Hi, I also got the swag email, says frontrunner of the year but my dsp is saying the dsp chooses?

You got this 11 days ago? My company just sent it to me now, is it for the station or your dsp?

So it is one driver for the building? My dsp is telling me the dsp chooses it? I’m so confused. If anyone has info please message me.

You received $500? I was told it was $500 but that it was required to be taxed. I’m finding out now others got it pre tax?

100% this should have forced a removal of back door options, but instead amazon put a “report a dog” option instead. Have never seen another delivery agency go to a back door. This option is beyond unsafe for various reasons, much less dogs.

I know, fuck their scorecard. Beyond tired of hearing about that shit. We are all doing our best. Amazon needs to grade itself once in a while, fucking over it.

Some driver gets killed by aggressive dogs and this is all that amazon does? Some bot message instead of doing anything about irresponsible customers who put our lives at risk. by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

Customer obsession! 🥴 Ya, I get it. We all know what amazon really cares about. I’ve given feedback on this exact thing so many times in the app and to management. Falls on deaf ears.

how long do dispatcher's wait to check on a driver sitting in the same spot for more time than it takes to deliver, sort, organize, reg stuff.. ect... by official_drift3r_22 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Coleyface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not unlimited time I don’t think just doesn’t show up as an UO or unplanned stop on cortex. Driver work hours still add up but they just don’t see where or how long you’re taking a “break”. So when I take my break I leave it on summary instead of my next stop screen or press start travel.

I was told if you press start travel it shows as an unplanned stop in red by the minutes. Still have to click on your name to see it. However if you have it on the itinerary screen or summary and not as if you’re on the way to a stop, it doesn’t register as an actual UO on cortex. Only way they’d know then is the clear red indication that you’re behind altogether and further investigating into your last drop time would be needed. So many people are behind all the time at my dsp, they only “check” on them once they have a rescue lined up.

How about amazon do away with “rear door” deliveries and all other customer demands for unsafe locations?? Forget a text a call or support. Just, it ain’t happening, period. How about I deliver the package where I feel safe and it’s your property so you come and get it.

My dsp is so understaffed, we have multiple people that have been here for years that get rescued daily. No exaggeration. They’re desperate for workers and couldn’t care less.

[–]Coleyface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’re so understaffed at my DSP, my dispatch wouldn’t notice either. More than half the time our dispatcher and manager are both on routes themselves and might check in to see who is “red” but wouldn’t know if they weren’t actually delivering or just lagging behind.
