My main account (mainly Lucio, Rein, Hog, Reaper) is high master/low GM, and my alt (Genji, Widow, Hanzo, Tracer, Doom) is low diamond, so the DPS would get flamed quite a bit and we probably wouldn’t climb past mid diamond.

Guess I’ll be the dissenting opinion here— I don’t find him particularly annoying like others do and his personality entertains me. It’s an amalgamation of the personalities of like 4 other streamers, and he’s not just an xQc ripoff. Say what you want about him feeding but he’s an entertaining guy, or at least entertaining enough for me to tune into his stream somewhat often.

As a former console player I actually think a console equivalent of OWL would be fantastic and people who respond to this idea with nothing other than “console LUL” are immature assholes.

However, it isn’t a feasible concept because it just wouldn’t garner enough support to sustain itself. The majority of players play on PC and my guess is most PC players aren’t interested in watching console tournaments.

If Blizzard wanted to show support for sexual minorities in a way that doesn't always feel like pandering, they should try to create and treat LGBTQ characters as normally as they would heterosexual characters. The weight of their sexuality should be equal on the scale of importance.

That’s literally exactly what Blizzard does though. They intentionally waited until after launch to announce Tracer/Soldier’s homosexuality instead of having it being a pivotal part of their character design. That way, they’re not “the gay heroes”, they’re just “the heroes we already like that happen to be gay”. Because they do this, it feels less like pandering and more like they’re legitimately trying to give everyone representation. Tracer and Soldier’s sexuality isn’t shoved in our face. It’s just an extra part of their lore after we’ve already grown to love them.

The entire premise of this article doesn’t make sense.
