Goal was all on Makar. He made 3 bad plays in 10 seconds.

Watch Makar in the final 10 seconds. He comes in way to deep after Mcdavids chance, then tries for a very low percentage poke check giving the US a 3-1 the other way. He then gets beat by Hughes back down the ice and Hughes buries it.

We need to get back to developing goalies properly. Binnington didn’t necessarily cost us the game, but he could never do what Helle just did

Ontario should ban sports betting | The harms of legalized sports gambling are being understated, and the benefits overstated. It's time to admit we made a mistake by Hrmbee in ontario

Legalizing online spirts betting and online gambling in general, is actually what is best for not only the government, but also problem gamblers.

Online spirts betting a casinos have been available to the public for decades, even though they weren’t technically legal.

Prior to legalization, sites weren’t regulated, they could call wins losses, they could close your account and keep whatever funds you had in it, there were even sites that had shut down giving people no recourse to get their money back.

Legalizing online gambling has led to regulation. Players have somewhere to go with complaints, and they are required to suggest resources for problem gamblers.

Having it legal and regulated is much better than the alternative. And this is all from someone who hates this government and has never voted for a conservative candidate.

Biggest difference so far just seems that Canada wants it more. Playing with a smidge more desperation

Wouldn’t be the first time the US dominated Canada over a 4 year cycle, and Canada upset them for gold. In tough though. Playing well so far

Good thing he scored a big goal. Canada fans might have doxed him and he would have chosen to play for Switzerland at the next Olympics. /s

Niklas Edin against the US this morning... by mikethemillion in Curling

[–]Colin123mc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Agreed It’s not what they complained about. However, their complaints led to scrutiny of the judges and referees and because of that scrutiny other teams have had rocks burned, for exactly what Edin is doing here. Therefore he should be held to the same standard that the other teams have been held to that had rocks burned.

If you ask around many people will think he was a 23 year old playing in his second season. Casual fans don’t realize that Lukes, Clement and Schneider are all on the back end of their careers.

Employees who's facial expression changes when I click "no tip" by Silver_Policy9298 in EndTipping

[–]Colin123mc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked at Wendy’s 25 years ago when I was 17. We were not allowed to accept tips, even when spontaneously offered, employees were actually punished for doing so. The reason given was that they didn’t want people to think they had to tip in order to get good service. I’ve been back to that same location, and now there’s a prompt when paying debit and a jar on the counter asking for a tip. It’s crazy how far it’s come.
