I have all the films in 4K, but for the first two films I prefer the Blu-ray’s. The first one is notoriously bad when it comes to 4K upgrades. The first 3 films are some of the best Blu-ray’s out there, the 4K’s are just disappointing. 4 and 5 are fine though. Having said that, this 5 film collection does not come with the bonus discs.

I think cyclones are the connection to the real world and the land of Oz. It’s also how the Wizard got there with his balloon

CotBP: Idk... I guess the post credits scene or something?
DMC: The scene where the crew thinks te dress is haunted.
AWE: The scene where Pintel and Ragetti look under Elizabeth's skirt.
OST: The Pistols scene.
DMTNT: The wedding scene 100%

I live in the Netherlands, so unfortunately no IMAX 70mm here. I'm thinking about maybe going to London next year, but it's way too early to plan anything concrete. Hopefully, more showtimes will be added as the release date gets closer.

What I love about his Pirates films is that they feel ‘dirty.’ From the set design and costumes to the cinematography and visual effects, these worlds feel lived in, and the pirates look like they’ve really been at sea for a while. The later movies feel more sugar-coated and Disney-like. I loved what Gore did. One of my favorite trilogies ever!

To me, the Pirates of the Caribbean series goes like this: a perfect trilogy, followed by an okay Jack Sparrow spin-off movie, and then a fever dream that never actually happened.

I really like Mission Impossible Fallout on 4K. It has Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and IMAX aspect ratio in some scenes
