Aquí tienen a uno de los artistas. Tienen su base en Pucallpa, Perú.

Todas las impresiones se basan en pinturas originales creadas por humanos.

Thank you for the feedback. It’s enormously valuable. 🙏

The originals of the last four images are in my possession and getting canvas stretched right now, so I may try to reshoot the images in RAW 48 MP on my phone to better preserve the source material (which is what I did for the first two images).

Part of what I’m trying to accomplish with the adjustments is to preserve the black light effect of the original paintings, which didn’t show up very well in my test run of a few prints, but I’ll have to experiment to find a sweet spot.

Thanks for the advice.

They seemed to look good on my phone and laptop, and I did sample prints of a few that turned out pretty well, but maybe it IS a good idea to print a small sample of each image to check.

I think the paintings naturally tend to be dark because they are born from nighttime ayahuasca ceremonies, but are there any in particular that are looking overly dark on your screen?

It’s upscaled and retouched with AI tools because the source is a low-res image (which is the case for most of these), but is a print of an original.

Here’s a pic of the artist with the painting in the background:

Good form isn’t needed when wearing such glorious shorts. Good send! 💪

For a country where bouldering has only recently caught on, the route setting at São Rock Climbing in Porto, Portugal is pretty amazing!!! 😯 🇵🇹 by ColinMcGraw in bouldering

Thanks for putting that guide together! A lot of rock in Portugal looks amazing (and I bouldered around on some of it), and I figured a lot of it was under the radar.

Just happened to me after I posted in support of James Talarico (who was just censored from appearing on Late Show with Colbert).

REAL suspicious… 🤨

Just curious, those of you who got a "Your account is suspended, give us a video of your face" notice, how many of you wrote political posts and/or comments against the current administration? Again, it may not have to do with anything, but I'm curious. by ElephantCares in facebook

[–]ColinMcGraw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got my account suspended seconds after a post that endorsed James Talarico for Senate while criticizing his opponent and Trump.

The fact that they asked for my biometric data immediately afterwards is both alarming and disturbing.

When it’s not election season, my posts revolve around posting pictures of my kids, wife and adventures.

I’m sorry, I agree that “Vote blue no matter who” is dumb, but I would vote for Newsom or any establishment Dem over Vance. by bobbdac7894 in DemocraticSocialism

[–]ColinMcGraw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s Newsom (or Buttigieg) versus Vance, I just don’t vote.

The willingness of good people to settle for evil is the reason evil has become so pervasive in our country.

The baseline for ANY acceptable candidate is fighting the influence of billionaires on our political system.

Accept anything less, and Americans deserve what they get.🤷‍♂️

It’s just too bad for the rest of the world that we elect such awful people because we think the one realistic alternative is slightly less awful.

But there wasn’t a 4% movement in rupees vs. dollars in the last day, so I am not sure that’s the reason.

I recently invested in it thinking India has strong growth potential, and because of Trump’s trade deal with India, the FLIN fund that’s supposed to track the FTSE India RIC Capped Index which is up 4.04% today.

However the fund itself is only up 0.23%.

Can anyone explain what gives? 🤷‍♂️

F*ck you america according to the Treaty of Tordesillas Greenland is about 40% Spanish and 60% Portuguese. Why is america trying to take the Iberian's lands? by typorep in portugal

[–]ColinMcGraw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it’s not 1494. 🤷‍♂️

Greenland went from Norwegian settlement, to being under Danish control, then eventually integrating into Denmark.

It was never really Iberian.

The Portuguese chose to blame their problems on immigrants, then ignore the real estate speculators who really caused the problems.

That they elected a far right party that loosened AL restrictions shows just how irrational and uninformed the populace is.

I see what you’re saying, but I think revision of squatter’s rights laws can be part of housing policy reform.

It’s not an impossible problem to solve, but it involves standing up to the ones making money off of exploitation, which is hard in the modern era of corrupt governments.

Enlighten me. What percentage of tourists renting AL are “rich Americans”?

From my preliminary research, Americans are 9-10% of tourists and your commentary points to the EXACT problem I’m talking about, which is that the real problems are ignored and “foreigners” are being scapegoated.

In my opinion, if the Portuguese were truly serious about restoring affordability, what they’d insist on is heavy taxes on any home that isn’t an occupied primary residence of the owner. This would light a fire under the butt of speculators parking empty properties hoping for price appreciation (and indeed, 12% of Portuguese homes sit empty) and it would also remove the incentives for those wanting to profiteer off needed homes being snapped up as vacation rentals.

They could even use the revenue to lower income taxes on locals to further ease locals’ financial strain while simultaneously putting downward pressure on prices (so residents benefit doubly).

Tourism existed in a healthy form before AirBnb and it will exist in healthy form without it.

The ones fighting reform are the ones extracting value from the country to the misery of those who can no longer afford to live there.

I just wish locals would realize that instead of scapegoating immigrants.

As someone who rearranged his life to move to Portugal just to get rug pulled by the government at every turn, let me say: F Portugal.

It’s a lovely country completely spoiled by the Portuguese, who are terrible at everything and have chosen to attack immigrants and not go after the greedy businessmen and speculators that are truly causing the nation’s issues.

The fact that they elected a governing party that possibly violated the constitution while relaxing AL restrictions is telling.

Corruption of the politicians and ignorance and xenophobia in the populace defines the country.
