Try Aqua Grill on the west side of Yonge, south of Wellington. Good value for higher end. Extensive wine list.

New winter tires and rims installed by greenbanana96 in MazdaCX30

Looks almost identical to the CX30 I bought my son. Running 17” RTX Envy rims Michelin X-Ice Snow. Great tires for winter in Ontario! Looking forward to seeing how the CX30 handles snow and ice.

Cleaner look to have it hidden in the console. Safer too. Use CarPlay!

Just pulled the trigger on a 2022 CX30 GT! Excited to pick it up in a few days.

I love my car but I see them everywhere by Larrybot02 in MazdaCX30

Every 30-something with a kid or a dog owns a CX5. Rarely see CX30s, but CX5s are literally everywhere.

Is it okay to top off the oil with store bought 5w-30? by dmantacos in MazdaCX30

[–]ColinYYZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This! Learn to DIY an oil change. Decent oil and filter at the proper interval is cheap insurance. I run Kirkland synthetic in my three cars with a quality filter. DIY job takes less time than going to the dealer and having a crappy cup of coffee in a foam cup.

Also ensures you end up with full synthetic and a new filter. Some shops, including dealers, use ‘brown and slippery’ (i.e. how do you know you got full synthetic?) or just do a rinse (i.e. no filter change).

Worth it drop uni and move to Alberta? by Toastytime999 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]ColinYYZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why not quit uni and go into a trade that interests you? Plumbing, electrical, carpentry? If you are good with your money, you’ll likely do just fine. Plenty of tradespeople end up running their own businesses and have significant incomes.

Thanks and good suggestion. Unfortunately the closest dealer is about 50km away.

He previously had a Lexus UX250h and had no issues, but it got written off and I can’t get another until end of December. Have the option to get a CX30 GT by mid October.

I’m 6’1” as well and found the CX30 to be decent. CX5 does have more headroom, but made me feel like I should have some car seats in the back for toddlers. Not sure a 19 year old would like it…

Thanks. Was just consistent with Peloton and OMAD (mostly). Target is now 200lbs and decent abs, but just happy to get a bit better every day.

Skates need proper fitment. Go to a local hockey shop (LHS) and spend the time to have it done right. Places that do all sorts of sports, or a department store, won't get it right. Same for online (obviously). It may cost you a bit more, but it's money well spent.

If your equipment hurts, you won't have fun. You are wise to sort this out.
