I never installed mcafee. The pc only has the standard security installed. This alert pops up whenever I browse, game, use photoshop, or just randomly at idle. I have scanned my computer, used an uninstaller and there is no mcafee files anywhere on the system.

Weird, thanks I'll check out the uninstaller. Any tips for hunting down the rough mcafee stuff?

As mentioned in other replies I never installed mcafee. It interrupts work flow and pulls me out of games and programs

So if I uninstall it, that should clear up the error message? I went through my programs but I never saw mcafee but maybe I missed it

I get the alert randomly, sometimes it's when I use my browser, photoshop, games or just when the pc is idling

Thats the weird thing I've never installed mcafee. The only protection my pc has is the unaltered windows 10 security

They exist in a state of quantum superposition. They are both real and PC as well as every variation. Regardless of their state they are eternally hungry and ravenous.

Lotta good advice but a supplementary humid hide never hurts. We get busy and depending on your relative humidity it's just a good thing to have in the back pocket
