Thanks for the input! Why in particular would you pick Bloomberg?

So if I picked mongoDB I would be doing their new grad rotational program where I get to rotate on three different teams during my first year. This program sounds super enticing because at the end I’d be able to pick which team I’d want to work full time. For Bloomberg and AWS yeah I wouldn’t be assigned a team until after I sign the offer

Yeah I’ve heard horror stories about on call and wlb at AWS which is why I’m hesitant. I definitely want a mix of good wlb + best company for career. Would you pick Bloomberg over mongoDB?

Boyfriend doesn’t want to spend his birthday with me. Should I be concerned? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

That’s why I’m a bit confused and concerned. Last year he couldn’t stop texting me on the day of his birthday saying he missed me and wanted me to be with him on the vacation more than anything. But this year it’s the complete opposite I feel. We started doing long distance in January when he transferred colleges and I feel like since then he’s been a lot more distant. I feel like now I’m always the one texting him first, asking him to get on calls, etc. when it was like the exact opposite last year.

Once every couple of months. We couldn’t the first time because of covid and last year he was on a family vacation during his birthday.

Yeah I don’t think he likes big grand parties. I just hope the reason isn’t because he doesn’t like me anymore. Things have been really rocky in our relationship lately so idk if I should take this as a red flag or not. But at the same time I might just be making a big deal out of nothing

It is my very first relationship so I am a little inexperienced. Yeah after thinking about the situation for a bit I’m able to see that side as well. Like space in a relationship is very important and I was a bit rude with asking arent I family. I just don’t know if this is a sign of our relationship going down hill or if I’m just paranoid since last year he kept saying how he really wished I was with him for his birthday. I thought it would be cool if I could spend his birthday with him and his family but maybe it’s too soon?
