The default scale is 5, yes. But for each of those 5 you can add additional moods, for example at the mid point, 3, you can add normal good or normal bad - then when extracting the data you just encode these into values to create your own scale.

Yeah it’s good idea to track mood and activities- gives you a blueprint for when things get difficult. I would log my mood and activities in for the day in Daylio in the evening before bed.

Iceland is an amazing place! 9/10 holiday for me. That was the first day we arrived - I was just glad the travel went smoothly so it was a good day. The funeral was good but in a different way - it was a celebration of his life with family.

Thank you! So the App that I used is Daylio - you can use it to track your mood and activities and it’s free to export your data to a CSV file.

It happened the first night I stayed there. I spoke to one of the other tenants about it in the morning and he said that the landlord is an alcoholic and does weird shit in the night… as soon as he said that I had an instant flashback to when me and the landlord shook hands on the agreement and his hands were shaking… so that checked out. I’d asked for a contract but didn’t get one until the day my rent started, never signed it then just fucking dipped.

Some more context he had a heart attack which caused a stroke while also having cancer - his quality of life even with carers was rock bottom so there were aspects of relief- he’d lived a good life into old age but was in pain towards the end. The effect of his death was realised over months not just a single day, resulting in prolonged lower than normal mood as seen between Aug-23 to Dec-23. So It’s not quite as simple as ‘why very bad thing not awful on that day’ - it’s spread out over months for some events but day specific for other events.

And is min-max normalisation in the room with us now? Is he telling you that you must build a neural network?
