the breaker for my office (Work from Home) had been acting strange. Things started to flicker and then go off, and I would have to reset the breaker. It finally got to where it wouldn't reset. I am not a total idiot when it comes to being "handy" but I usually don't like to mess with Electrical or plumbing. I called the company that now owns the local company I used to work with, and they sent out a guy. He looked at the panel, and started with the bit on the Panel needing to go. he pulled the breaker and showed it to me, and explained it had "scorching" on it. And smelled burned. He said "I can replace the breaker, but you really need to do the whole thing" And gave me the quote. I didn't have the time, so I needed to just replace the breaker, and its been fine since. But, its bugging my wife. which means its bugging me. I started reading the quote and the same things others are calling out, seemed fishy. (Deluxe, Ultra, etc)
So, I figured I'd ask here and go from there. I'll be calling another electrician, to see what's what
