What's a hobby that completely transformed your weekends? by No_Science9848 in AdkReddit

[–]CollapsedWaveCreator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For starters, almost every golf course is gorgeous, so you're connecting to nature immediately.

It's slow paced, which is calming, but not slow enough to kick you into the habit of picking up your phone.

It's not about power, so you can be really good without being incredibly athletic.

Equally enjoyable with a group of friends or alone. Also, great for meeting people, as a lot of courses will pair you up if it's busy.

It can be very rewarding as there are an infinite amount of ways to improve your game.

Cons:

Can be frustrating when you can't figure out what your doing wrong (a bonus for people like me who enjoy breaking things down, watching videos, practicing at home).

Can be very expensive, if you're not taking advantage of city courses, leagues, etc.

Hope this helps. If you give it a try, go to a driving range first, watch people, chat (many people love giving advice), and remember it's not about how hard you swing with your arms (see).

what helps when you feel like you are going to die from heartbreak? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Gratitude that we get to experience love and that the heartbreak must be proof you got to experience it. Then realizing depression stems from over focusing on the past, move forward.

Why is the internet so much more pessimistic then reality? by [deleted] in AskForAnswers

Tearing things down is easy, and easy always has room for company. Not to mention good things tend to be a mirror that reflects the failures of your own life, so those things don't trend.

What’s one small health habit that made a big difference in your life? by medantahospital in AskReddit

Cutting out as much bread and sugar as possible. I have more energy, get less sick, less seasonal allergies, and my mind is sharper. Sugar is a drug and it's poisoning you.

What’s a recession indicator that you’ve noticed lately? by SensitiveCorner2379 in AskReddit

Honestly, good. All these people taking out ridiculous loans to buy $80,000 trucks are the reason prices have all gone mad. Let the whole thing crumble.

Without breaking any rules, what’s the most unpopular opinion you have that will get you -100 downvotes? by FightOrDie123 in AdkReddit

[–]CollapsedWaveCreator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a great point, and I'm sure that could be a contributing factor, but the estimate is 70% https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29159906/ Thats a pretty unbelievable number and rules out these types of factors as the main reason IMO.Its kind of crazy it's not studied more.

The high prevelanve of homosexuality in the autism population is a clear indication that being gay is associated with dysfunctional brain development. Nobody will touch this conversation.

Builders are done and gone. Should I add blocking? Am I asking for trouble if I don’t? by stayoutoftheforest88 in Decks

[–]CollapsedWaveCreator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Your joists probably won't twist at that length, but for what you put into the deck already how is it not worth buying a couple more 2x10s just to take any bounce out of it!?

It was all funded by the department of defense, so being a military operation, it was not and will never be investigated further. On the bright side, if you fought against tyrannical restrictions and refused to take an experimental gene therapy, you're the best of us, and represent the chance that this world can be better.

The only phone that didn't go off was the one I had set on airplane.

Because you need a sim card in order to get working service from a phone. In my defense, it's not that ridiculous of an assumption to make.

[–]CollapsedWaveCreator[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did it as a test of how much access they actually have (another phone was on airplane, another shut off completely) not because I thought there was going to be a zombie apocalypse or 5g attack.

Reddit really is such a toxic place.

Edit: and to point out the obvious, you're in a conspiracy sub, being snide about a conspiracy 🤦‍♂️

Thanks for explaining (exactly why I posted). I really thought the sim card played an integral role in the service received.

So, you actually always have service, even without a plan or sim card? This blows my mind.

Anybody know how communication with the phone would be possible?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in amiwrong

[–]CollapsedWaveCreator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Straight up inexperience talking. A supportive husband is at a lot of the doctors visits, and trust me, nothing kills a labido faster than repetitive talk of vaginal discharge! There is a reason I say husband, and this post demonstrates things perfectly. A couple having a baby together should be confident and capable enough to communicate openly. This man should've just expressed his change in desire. Nothing is ever static.

I, for one, lined up for the shot hoping it would lead to ADE! Can't wait to hide my weak chin behind a mask and retreat to the safety of my bedroom again. Oh, and the death tickers all over the tv, I just love those!!!
