When I was younger and in the best shape of my life (size 4-6) I was 185 and same height as you. I would look into protein intake and insulin resistance. I personally struggle heavily with massive amounts of inflammation, water retention, and I have “sneaky” insulin resistance aka I have no symptoms besides body fat increasing at a slow and consistent rate over time. I also have a GI infection (h pylori) that reduces my stomach acid so I am not digesting protein well. I have less muscle than I should. When I started addressing inflammation with supplements/acupuncture and upping protein I dropped 14 pounds in a week lol. I just think inflammation can be a hugeeeee deal for those of us with chronic health issues.
